What trademarks does A.E. Nathan own?
As of 2013/2014, A.E. Nathan has trademarked two fabric items. The first one is Comfy Flannel (R) Prints & Solids which is now trademarked in the US. The Canadian application is currently pending. The second one is Luscious Dimple Fleece (R) which is the A.E. Nathan version of Minkee (R) Fleece with the dimple. Please note that all violations of the A.E. Nathan trademarks are taken very seriously and will be aggressively pursued.

All the fabrics are priced accordingly throughout the website. The prices on the website are the highest prices that A.E. Nathan would sell to anyone and should be the highest price that any shop or store pays to buy A.E. Nathan products. Please note that only approved customers can access pricing on the website after logging into their account. Customers that purchase in bulk are eligible for advantageous price breaks. What is the minimum order requirement?

Does A.E. Nathan sell to manufacturers?

No, A.E. Nathan uses a contract warehouse called SNS South in Seneca, S.C.
What is the "Quilt of the Month" program?
The "quilt of the month" is a program that A.E. Nathan produced for Wal-mart USA. The program included 5-8 different prints and a printed instruction sheet to make a beautiful quilt. Please click the yellow "quilt of the month" icon to the left to view the older quilt of the months and the pdf instruction files that go with them. As of August 2013, this program was discontinued.
Where are A.E. Nathan's products produced?
Most of the A.E. Nathan flannel products and quilting fabrics are produced in Pakistan. Some quilting fabrics are produced in China. The A.E. Nathan yarn dyed flannels are produced in India. All fleece is produced in China. All apparel fabrics and homespuns are produced in India. When you select an item from the website, under its description should be a country of origin.
Can A.E. Nathan produce custom items?
A.E. Nathan has excellent resources in Pakistan, India, China & Korea that are capable of producing various custom items i.e. swaddle blankets, fleece throws, custom fabric designs, etc. A.E. Nathan can also print any pattern that you desire, but there is typically a 3000-6000 yard minimum order or a surcharge for smaller quantities. Please note that special orders can take anywhere from 3-6 months, so plan accordingly. For a quicker turnaround, please note that you may print one of A.E. A.E. Nathan takes pride in donating a lot of flannel and other fabrics every year to important charitable organizations and causes. Please contact us regarding donations. We try to accommodate all requests for shop hop donations as well, but prefer that some of the shops in the shop hop actually buy fabric from A.E. Nathan.
How can one become a licensor for A.E. Nathan?
A.E. Nathan is always looking for new and creative designers who are interested in designing fabric lines for A.E. Nathan and its related companies. Please feel free to send groups of designs to our home office address (attention Scott) or email them to firstname.lastname@example.org. A.E. Nathan is also always seeking to create licensing arrangements with major studios, cartoons, movies, games, etc.

The family that owns A.E. Nathan also owns Henry Glass Fabrics, Studioe Fabrics, Jaftex Corporation, Merrivale Fabrics, Fabric Editions and more recently, The Blank Quilting Corporation. If you fill out the form st-120 and send in a state resale certificate you are eligible to buy from A.E. Nathan as well as Henry Glass and Studioe.
